Key Compliance Notice:
Transportation of hazardous substances, illegal contraband, or
unauthorized items is strictly prohibited across the Truck Point ecosystem. Compliance with
Bangladesh transport statutes is mandatory.
1. Platform Role & Nature of Service:
ট্র্যাক পয়েন্ট operates an on-demand digital freight brokerage and logistics technology platform connecting freight consignors/businesses with independent freight carriers and commercial truck operators.
2. Account Registration & User Eligibility:
• You must be at least 18 years old and possess the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under Bangladesh law.
• You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information during registration and maintain password confidentiality.
3. Booking, Bidding & Pricing Standards:
• Consignors must declare accurate cargo categories, dimensions, and gross weights to select appropriate vehicle capacities.
• Fares agreed upon via direct quote or open driver bidding represent the binding transportation fare.
• Reasonable loading and unloading time windows apply. Unreasonable delays exceeding standard thresholds may incur standardized hourly demurrage fees.
• Highway tolls, bridge fares, and ferry levies are payable according to the agreed booking terms.
4. Absolute Prohibition on Illicit & Hazardous Cargo:
The transport of the following items is strictly prohibited across the ট্র্যাক পয়েন্ট network:
• Narcotics, contraband, firearms, ammunition, or illegal merchandise.
• Highly flammable liquids, unauthorized chemicals, explosives, or radioactive substances.
• Unlicensed forest produce, endangered wildlife, or goods violating Bangladesh penal statutes.
Violations result in immediate permanent account termination, forfeiture of balance, and prompt reporting to law enforcement authorities.
5. Cancellation & Demurrage Policy:
• Customers may cancel bookings without penalty before the driver initiates vehicle dispatch.
• If a cancellation occurs after the assigned truck arrives at the pickup point, a nominal dry-run cancellation fee is charged to compensate the driver partner.
6. Cargo Safety, Handling & Limitation of Liability:
• Proper packaging and weatherproofing of freight are the fundamental responsibility of the shipper.
• Independent carrier partners are obligated to exercise reasonable transit care. In the event of transit incidents, ট্র্যাক পয়েন্ট will facilitate prompt investigation, claims support, and mediation.
7. Account Suspension & Platform Integrity:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account involved in fraudulent bookings, rate manipulation, abusive conduct, or policy violations without prior notice.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution:
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. All disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
